Poignant songs with a late-night, smoky feel

The quality of Paul’s songwriting, piano playing and singing are right up there with the likes of Randy Newman: his songs and their delivery are impeccable, poignant and thought-provoking. “Home For The Weekend” and “When Love Comes Calling”, for example, are beautifully crafted classic ballads which sit happily alongside his swing, jazzy and bluesy numbers.
