Archive

Graham Gurrin set up the web site way back in 1997, when no one else realised what the internet was really about and how useful it would become. He ran it until the end of 2006. Words cannot express our gratitude for the immense amount of time and effort he has put in over the years, fitting it in around his demanding work schedule as a newspaper sub editor and journalist. This will continue to be a valuable resource, and you can visit his site here to see the full archive with links from that period.

We have recently produced a complete archive of the Ram's guests, which you can download here (PDF format, 1.2 mb) or get from the club. We will update it every couple of years.

Below is a list of the past guests from September 2006.

Friday 5th March 2010 - Pete Coe

Pete Coe

A vibrant performer who champions traditional English Folk in all its glories. Singer, songwriter, melodeon,
banjo, dulcimer and bouzouki player, bandleader, broadcaster, teacher, step dancer, sallow-faced wit, raconteur
and all-round good guy, Pete is a 'one man folk industry' who represents the backbone of the folk revival. He's
been a key member of numerous significant outfits across three decades - a much-loved duo with Chris Coe, the
wondrous dance outfit New Victory Band, Bandoggs and political trailblazers Red Shift. His richly varied solo
work takes in songs from the Tradition, dance tunes and his own potent songs.
